Anna Baltz Schmidt
c.1885–?
Also recorded as Anna Schmidt, Anna Baltz.
Life and records
Anna appears as the wife of Earnest Schmidt in the reviewed 1920 Elkhorn household, with daughter Erna Ruth. Her age is recorded as 35 in that census; it is not treated as an exact birth date.
The original 1921 county-history biography identifies her as Anna Baltz and records a 1908 marriage to Ernest. A 1940 directory transcription gives September 10, 1908, in Saunders County, Nebraska. That precise date and place remain attributed to the directory until the marriage record is checked.
The 1940 entry identifies their daughter Erna Ruth by her married name, Mrs. Harvey von Seggern, connecting the Schmidt household to the later von Seggern branch.

What still needs checking
Her approximate birth year is calculated from the 1920 census age, not taken from a birth record.
The 1910 Anna, age 28, has not been treated as a confirmed match.
The reviewed material does not establish a death date. This is a historical profile, not an indication that the person is living.
Baltz is supported by the original 1921 biography. Fuller middle names and exact vital dates found in community memorials have not been adopted without further verification.
